Our Enzo Ferrari

The Ferrari Enzo was Ferrari’s early-2000s flagship supercar. Developed directly from its Formula 1 knowledge, it features a naturally aspirated 6.0-litre V12 paired with an F1-style automated manual gearbox.

Its carbon-fibre structure builds on the F50 but moves into a far more advanced generation, combining high torsional stiffness with modern crash protection. Aerodynamics are integrated into the bodywork through active front and rear elements and a shaped underfloor. Together they manage downforce and stability without the need for large fixed wings. In Ferrari’s lineage, the Enzo marks the shift into the modern supercar era, bridging the analogue flagships of the past with the technology-led cars that followed.

Our Enzo Ferrari is painted in classic Rosso Corsa and was originally delivered to Charles Pozzi in France.

F1 Suspension

The Enzo’s rear suspension marked a major step in Ferrari’s road-car engineering. It uses push-rod, inboard-mounted dampers, a layout taken directly from Formula 1, rather than conventional outboard coilovers. This allows better control of wheel movement and reduces unsprung weight. Furthermore, it creates space for the Enzo’s aerodynamic underbody, linking chassis and aero in a way Ferrari had never done before on a road car.

Active Aero

The Enzo was the first Ferrari to use active aerodynamics. Movable elements at the front and rear adjust automatically depending on speed and braking. Under heavy braking, the rear flap rises to increase drag and rear downforce, stabilising the car and improving stopping performance. At higher speeds, the system reduces drag, allowing stability without relying on fixed wings. It introduced a level of aerodynamic control Ferrari had never used on a road car before.

F1 Steering Wheel

The Enzo’s steering wheel brought Formula 1 control philosophy directly into a road car. Instead of stalks and conventional switches, key functions are placed directly on the wheel. Just like F1, coloured buttons control systems such as traction control, dampers and gearbox. This allows the driver to make adjustments without taking their hands off the wheel. It was the first time Ferrari transferred this style of cockpit control from its race cars into a road going model.
